In the new few weeks I will start my move back to Massachusetts. I spent my first 14 years of life there, excluding a brief 8 month stint in Ohio, I spent the other 14 or so years of my life in Las Vegas/Henderson, NV.
Why the move? Like most people my age: work. More importantly the pay is much better in MA for IT jobs than southern NV. Reason being is that at one point Southern Nevada was a really inexpensive place up to around 2002. Now because of people looking for IT jobs > number of IT jobs, a lot of companies aren't paying to scale.
So now, I'm dealing with finding a place to live, and then figuring out what I'm gonna move and what's getting donated/sold. Combine that with an ongoing headache with my car, I should have a migraine.
